Welcome to the home of Ozark Bronze! We are a community ensemble of handbell ringers in Northwest Arkansas, and have been ringing together since 2006. Although some faces have changed through the years we've been together, our goal to present an exciting and musically-challenging repertoire has not. From classical to pop, sacred to secular, our music always has something for every listener.
Ozark Bronze presents solo concerts during the Spring and Christmas seasons. Watch this website and your community calendars for information on when you can find us playing a concert near you!
Ozark Bronze Handbell Ensemble is an auditioned community handbell ensemble made up of ringers from the Northwest Arkansas area. Founded in 2006 by Kerry Johnston, this ensemble is dedicated to providing the highest level of English handbell ringing to its audiences. The group rings 5 octaves of Malmark handbells, 4 octaves of Schulmerich handbells, and 4 octaves of Malmark Choirchimes.
The individuals who make up Ozark Bronze are involved in a variety of professions and are bound together through the enjoyment of ringing handbells. The ensemble plays arrangements of classical and popular selections, as well as original compositions for handbells.Ozark Bronze gratefully acknowledges the gracious use of equipment and facilities of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, Fayetteville. Music, travel, and other items are funded through private donations; designated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Ozark Bronze appreciates all contributions!
